Our Georgetown location opened in April 2023 as the first Mach-1 in the First State of Delaware. We are situated between the new Wawa and AutoZone on Dupont Highway. With a 130-foot tunnel, free vacuums, detailing air guns, and a mat cleaner, we know you’ll love using this location to keep your vehicle clean, dry, and shiny! This location offers four different single washes and three monthly unlimited plan packages!
You can find us between Wawa and AutoZone! There isn’t a much more convenient location for all your needs!

About Our Manager
Hunter’s journey to Mach-1 is a testament to the power of finding the right fit. Although he came to the company with no prior experience in the car wash industry, his background in food service and various government roles has equipped him with a unique skill set that has helped him thrive. In fact, it almost feels like destiny led him to Mach-1, thanks to a chance encounter with a random job posting. The company’s motto, “everything it takes,” resonated deeply with Hunter, as it mirrored his personal philosophy.
Outside of work, Hunter has a passion for teaching CPR, AED, and First Aid courses. Certified by both the National Safety Council and the American Red Cross, he finds joy and fulfillment in empowering others with life-saving skills. For Hunter, it’s not just about teaching techniques; it’s about making a real difference in people’s lives.
Hunter’s approach to leadership is guided by a quote from Major Richard “Dick” Winters: “Lead from the front, stay humble, and never give up. Success comes from being a leader of character and earning respect not from your rank, but from who you are.” This quote encapsulates Hunter’s leadership style—leading by example, developing his team, and continuously striving for personal and professional growth.
